In this episode, she tells about a young mom’s journey from being told her son was normal, and just fussy and frequently sick, to finding how to help him thrive. She unpacks the layers of chaos from a traumatic birth, and how it affected both the toddler’s and mom’s nervous systems. This is such an awesome story of how chiropractic created shifts in the expression of their potential!

Dr. Devin and I discuss the transformational effect of stories like this, because it ain't all Disney! I ask her, “How do you find joy? How do you continue through pain to put on the colorful hats, feathers and not just fade to black?”

For both of us, telling the hard stories is a part of our fabric. I shared about when I was 19-years-old and my Grandpa lived and died under hospice care in my bedroom. That led to my first story published in a magazine in 2008.

Dr. Devin discusses who she processes and shares her hard stories, from stages and on videos. Then she wraps up the episode with a charge to everyone listening to find a way, find a form of media, or someone to help you with sharing your stories.
